How did you meet each other
Jonathan and I knew each other as babies. He was my best friend and my truest love. Around the age of 7 he asked me to marry him. He gave me his new baseball glove and I gave him my mother's collectors coin (she wasn't very happy about that). Then all of a sudden he moved away and I never heard from him again. No one knew where he and his father had moved...he was gone. I remember writing to Santa and asking for Jonathan to come back and I wouldn't ask for anything else. He never came back. So life went on, like it does, and I grew up, and it was hard. I, like so many others had a lot of horrible things happen to me. Some I won't talk about, others include finding my first puppy dead at the bottom of the staircase when I was 12, my best and only friend dying my Senior year of high school, my left arm mostly torn off from a car accident and spending almost a month in the hospital having it pieced back together, which ended my dream of becoming a professional ballerina. And that's just a few. Still, even though the hard times, I never forgot my first and only love. His memory kept me going. Then last January I tried looking for him again, this time I found his father. I found him and we talked for hours every day after. I went to visit him in March, and he was more perfect than anything I had ever imagined . . . I was still in love and it turned out he was as well. In fact, I still have the baseball glove he'd given me and he still has the coin. Two soultwins separated by circumstance then reunited by true love. I've never been happier in me life.
How did your fiancee propose to you
He told me that he spent months trying to think of the most romantic way to propose,
He had come home from work for lunch. I was sitting on the couch watching T.V., still in my P.J.'s and looking absolutley horrid. He told me that he had been thinking, then all of a sudden he was on his knee and asked for my hand. I covered my face with my hands, to terrified to look at him. I can't explain the emotion, but it was almost like I was scarred that I has misunderstood or he was joking. Of course I said yes followed by uncontrollable sobbing and a call to my mother. He was a little upset that it wasn't the 'perfect' romantic thing he had planned, but I saw it much differently. He proposed to me when I looked my worst, while I was being completely my self, making him lunch. By asking me to marry him like that, it showed me that he was serious and he loves me just as I am, and accepts me for me.
