Help me Compromise

My man wants a simple wedding. He doesn't want a lot of people there. I don't care as long as my parents are there and as long as I get a wedding I don't care how big or glam it is. He wanted to get married in a court house and I was totally against that. Anyways, we have decided that when we go to Florida this summer, we are gonna get married on the beach. That way I can still have my wedding and we are only inviting our parents and siblings. Today my grandma called wondering why she has not been told about it yet and why she has not been invited. I need help. If i let them come then I will be going against my man's wants. If I don't let them come, I feel like my family is gonna hate me. I wish they could come I am only trying to compromise with my man about what we both want to make sure we are both happy. My family sees this as him not wanting them there but at the same time his grandparents, aunts, uncle's, etc. will also not be there. I am clueless. I don't wanna hurt everyone's feelings but I feel like it's unavoidable.????????????

Try to explain it to your family that his relatives will not be there. Also tell them that you want just a nice small wedding. Maybe after you get married you can have a party where you will be able to invite everyone then. Good-Luck.
