Booking both a Photographer and Videography from the same company.
Not just a way to save money, but a way to to get quality.
This is one of my recommendations for all you soon to be brides.
What you probably know would be a company that books both a Photography and Videographer like my company (Freedom Film In Motion -
http://www.Freedominmotion.net) is that this is a fantastic way to save money.
Save Money
Most companies who are willing to offer the two services are looking to book both professionals at the same wedding. They want to be working at the same event because it not only saves the two employees money from travel expenses but both employees prefer to work with professionals they know and worked with before. Everyone that has worked a wedding has there favorite wedding staff they recommend to the couples booking for there wedding. Most professionals could recommend anyone you need to complete your wedding. This is because people prefer to work with other professionals they know can handle the job well.
Higher Quality Products
You receive a Higher Quality Product from two employees from the same company because they are at the availability of the other product a lot easier than having to go through other companies for the product. (A common mistake of any photographer or videographer is not being at the right place at the right time.) A videographer who will be editing the final wedding video might want to include editing of some of the photos that were taken by the photographer to spice up the edit. He can easily access these photos right in the same office. The photographer making prints can grab a still shot from the footage the videographer took if he was to miss a shot. Making more of your wedding more available to you.
More Respectiful Working Environment
One thing any wedding employee knows is that it is usually a mad dash to do your job and do it properly. That being the case many wedding employees might not work with the other professional properly who sadly is also there working for you. Which is disrespectful to you the couple. Many employees want to get through the job and do it there own way.
Examples - A photographer taking photos during a photo session might set up and move family members before the videographer got his proper shot. The photographer take three shots in 5 seconds were it could take a videographer 10-300 seconds to get his shot. So one disrespectful situation is when a photographer will not wait for the videographer.
Another example would be - The DJ might start the wedding cake cut when the photographer is on the other side of the room which will might the photographer miss this very important photos.
This is NO good for you because when people do there own job and not respect there peers this hurts your final products. Having employees from the same company you wont have that happen because they are trained to feed off each other. They help each get the proper shot and do it right.
This is just my outlook on multiple employees from the same company.
